ABOUT MARK

Born in Madison, WI, Mark Crowder grew up on the evangelistic field with his parents and brother, ministering all across the country. After settling in Indianapolis, IN, he attended Calvary Christian School, Ben Davis High School, and eventually Indiana University, graduating in December 2008 with a major in Informatics and minors in business and music theory. During his time in school, Mark was blessed to win Campus Superstar, a singing competition for all university students in the state of Indiana; as well as Talent Search at Youth Congress. Winnings from both competitions allowed him to record his first CD, ‘No More Night’. He was then offered an opportunity to minister at General Conference a few times; and at the next Youth Congress.

Upon graduation, Mark was asked to assist Bishop Mike Mitchell as the Music Director of New Life Tabernacle in Brooklyn, NY. During his time there, his choir and group opened up for Tye Tribbett, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Mary Mary, and many others. In October 2012, the Lord directed Mark to Calvary Apostolic Church in Columbus, OH pastored by Bishop Stark where he serves as Music Director, still preaching, ministering, and leading worship. He’s deeply thankful for the privilege of serving under the Stark family and for God’s plan unfolding in his life. He is married to the love of his life, Blessing Crowder, and they have one daughter, Mirella.
